Introduction:
Barisal
Division is a traditional habitat. This
river line land is blessed with bounty of
crops. The people of this division have been
active in every moment of the country. They
are the people who have been most conscious
about achieving the target of
"Education for all".
Boundary:
The division has Dhaka division to its
north, The Bay of Bengal of the south,
Chittagong Division to the east, and Khulna
Division to its west.
Area: It has an area of nearly 13,297 square
Kilometers.
