Introduction:
Khulna
Division is situated in the coastal belt
south of the country. Splendid in nature,
the division contributes a lot to the
development of Industry, art and culture of
the country.
Boundary: It
has Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and the
Padma River to its north, the Bay of Bengal
to its south Dhaka and Barisal Divisions and
the Meghna River to the east and Indian
state of west Bengal to the west.
Area: It
has an area of nearly 22,445 Square
Kilometer.
Population: The
population of the Division is around
1,31,33,000.
Districts: These
are Khulna, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Jessor,
Magura, Jhenaiddah, Narail, Khuhtia,
Meherpur, and chuadanga.
