Dhaka
is the capital city of Bangladesh and also a divisional
city.
It stands apart from other divisional cities. Dhaka is very
rich in art, culture and literature. And the districts of
the division are pioneers
in art & culture, education and literature too. Main
spotlight center of Bangladesh.
Boundary:
It has Meghalaya state of India to its North. Barisal
division to its south, Sylhet and Chittagong
divisions in the east and Khulna and Rajshahi divisions in
the west.
Area:
It has and an area of 31,178 (Thirty One thousand One
hundred Seventy Eight)
Population:
It has a population of nearly 3,35,93,000. |

There are
Seventeen Districts (17) in Dhaka Division. ]These are
Dhaka, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Narshingdi, Manikganj,
Gazipur,Mymensing, Kishorganj, Netrakona, Jamalpur, Sherpur,
Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Shariatpur, Rajbari and
Gopalgang.
